Your question about crow's feet
Crow’s feet are also called smile lines and usually originate somewhere around the age of 30 when skin elasticity begins to decrease. When the crow’s feet are at the beginning stage, they are usually labeled as cute, but when the lines become deeper, it will get disturbing for many people.
How do you treat crow's feet
If the lines do not remain visible in the skin when you relax the muscles, a Botox treatment can offer a nice solution. The muscles will thereby relax, which will make the eye area nicely smooth. When in rest position wrinkles do not pull away then we speak of volume loss which can be corrected with a filler or a Skinbooster treatment before the Botox is injected.
In addition to injectables, we are also able to significantly improve the skin around the eyes and strengthen them with a Tixel treatment or an Erbium laser treatment.
With the Tixel treatment we work with a controlled ablation of the skin so that we are working deep in the skin as well as on the skin surface. This treatment works very well for the delicate skin around the eyes. In the Erbium laser treatment, the laser radiates (invisible) channels in the skin. Because of these minor injuries, the skin will rebuild from the inside. Both treatments are quite intensive so that we can significantly reduce wrinkles and lines. The TIXEL treatment should always be repeated 4 times because you will evaporate 25% of the skin surface per treatment. In the Erbium laser, several treatments are usually required. Optionally, the TIXEL treatment and the Erbium laser treatment can be supplemented with a Botox treatment to prevent further wrinkle formation.

By using botox dosed during a treatment, the muscle is not completely ‘flat’ laid. This makes the result much more natural and your skin looks young and radiant. Botox is used for dynamic wrinkles caused by contraction of muscles.
Thanks to fillers, the face can regain its volume and wrinkles become less hard and visible. As we get older, you see that on our face: wrinkles are formed, the skin becomes slacker and loses its volume. This can also change your facial expression. With fillers these specific places can be treated, so that the volume loss is filled up, as it were. Skin subsidence and wrinkles can be postponed by applying fillers and in some cases can even be prevented. KNAP Institute works with multiple types of fillers: hyaluronic acid (brands Restylane and Emervel), calcium hydroxyapathite (brand Radiesse) and poli-l-lactic acid (brand Sculptra).
The Tixel uses a new concept called Thermo-Mechanical Ablation. This means that a cup (1 cm2) with small titanium pins is shot against the skin very briefly. By means of a short contact time with the skin micro holes are made in the skin and heat is brought deep into the skin. A wound healing process is triggered by the small wounds.
The Erbium laser treatment is focused on the approach of deep wrinkles and scars. This treatment is ideal for general skin improvement but can also be used locally
With a Mesotherapy treatment, a cocktail of hyaluronic acid is used. Hyaluronic acid plays an important role in maintaining the skin condition. It binds moisture in the skin, which makes it hydrated. This ensures that the skin stays fresh, firm and healthy. A weakened skin regains vitality and firmness with Mesotherapy
This treatment works on the basis of a vacuum-fractionated radio frequency technology with microneedles. Fractional radiofrequency (also called microneedle radiofrequency) is a new method of treatment with microneedles with which the skin can be treated in a very precise and controlled manner.
