Have you seen it come by? The Pineapple challenge is going viral! Our skin therapist Sofia from Equador shared this secret recipe from her homeland with Chantal Bles. Equador works a lot with natural recipes and this is one you want to try! Especially when you undergo body treatments such as lymphatic drainage, LPG, Icon, Connective tissue or the Venus Legacy.
Chantal Bles is currently undergoing our lymphatic drainage treatments to dissipate fluid, and Sofia advised her to drink pineapple juice in addition to the treatments to drain off even better fluid. This involves drinking the water that comes from the peel of the pineapple. In Equador this is called: zumo de pina.
Lymph is a fluid that flows through our body and this fluid is responsible for the removal of waste and excess moisture. By massaging the lymphs, this function is stimulated and boosted, so that your body can remove waste and moisture more effectively. This makes you feel lighter and tighter immediately. In addition, the skin becomes more beautiful.
Chantal started immediately with her pineapple challenge her followers were immediately curious so that now there is even a pineapple challenge highlight on her instagram where you can follow everything! The Pineapple challenge is now going viral!
How are you?
It is very easy. You buy a whole (organic) pineapple and you cut the peel of the pineapple. The peels must be cleaned thoroughly and our tip is to use a clean toothbrush for this. When the peels are clean, put them in a pan with 3 liters of water and heat this until it boils and then let it cool. And that’s it! Now you have zumo de pina from Equador! If you find it somewhat bitter, you can add a pinch of cinnamon to the water.
What our Sofia recommends is to drink this water on an empty stomach every morning after waking up. Then you also add a portion of pineapple (the real fruit) to your normal breakfast.
With 3 liters you can do about 1.5 days and then you can boil a new juice again. You also follow your normal (healthy) diet and you can also continue to drink normal water, coffee and tea. The zumo de pina is really an addition.
Why does it work?
Pineapple is already known for its moisture-repellent capacity and fits well in a diet. The peels of the pineapple work even more strongly on the moisture-wicking capacity and that is why this drink works so well. You have to pee a lot if you drink this and it helps to effectively dissipate moisture. That is why this tip is so good if you are undergoing body treatments such as lymphatic drainage, icon, LPG, connective tissue massages and Venus treatments to dissipate fluid and tackle cellulite.
