Laser (exept Cold Laser and Clearlift Laser)
Make sure you have not had sun for at least a few weeks: Sun holiday, winter sports, a sun bed or a terrace visit. Make sure you visit the clinic that you do not have cream, sunscreen or make-up. Do you ever suffer from a cold sore? Indicate this so that you can get a preventive cure of antiviral medication to prevent the laser from causing a cold sore. You can also request this cure from your doctor.
Make sure that after the laser treatment you have a good recovery cream (we advise and sell Oxygenetix) to allow the skin to recover optimally and to expect as few side effects as possible. You can not be in the sun for several weeks because reactive pigmentation spots can then develop.
Provide loose clothing so that the treated area is not in tight clothing after the treatment. Do not drink alcohol on the day of treatment.
It is more pleasant not to let the treatment take place during menstruation. Additional advice may be to combine Cryolipolysis with a connective tissue massage.
Do not take ibuprofen, aspirin, vitamin E or fish oil tablets from one week before the treatment. These agents can thin the blood and cause bruising more quickly. If you get bruises quickly, you can use Arnica tablets or drops from 4 days before treatment.
Do you ever suffer from a cold sore? You can then preventively lubricate Zovirax and / or L-lysine to prevent you from getting a cold sore just before / after puncture in the area of the mouth.
Make sure you have icepacks in the house to reduce any swelling. Do not try to expose your skin to extreme temperatures. It is best not to visit saunas, tanning beds and steam baths for the first 6 to 8 weeks. Make sure you do not go to the sun for one week after the treatment. In addition, it is not recommended to drink red wine 24 hours after the treatment, eat spicy and seafood.
Make sure you have properly scrubbed and shaved the desired body parts. Do not apply body lotion, deodorant, face cream or make-up.
Put on dark, loose clothing.
For a peel it is important that you have not been in the sun for 2 weeks, and do not go into the sun for at least 2 weeks. Make sure you have not used creams with tretinoin (vitamin A acid cream) for at least 3 months, unless the doctor has indicated this.
You can not go under the sunbed or in the sun 48 hours after the botox treatment.
Please note that you must re-apply deodorant after treatment against excessive perspiration of the armpits with botox.
Make sure you do not have your arms smeared with body lotion and try not to use the arm during the infusion. This will prevent you from getting stuck and walking too slowly from the infusion.
Leave the patch for 2 hours after removing the infusion needle. After the infusion you can notice some things such as a metallic taste in the mouth or a rushed feeling.
